Experienced workshop tutor

I love sharing my knowledge and passion for making with you, whether you have never been on a creative workshop before or you already enjoy making things.

I have been running my own craft workshops from my studio and in other venues such as craft galleries since 2019. Beyond this I have lots of varied teaching experience too, from teaching English as a foreign language for 20 years, to working as a freelance craft tutor for a hen party company!

Wire seed heads workshop

Learn how to make wire flowers inspired by grasses, cow parsley, poppies and much more, on this workshop you can create your own bunch of wire seed heads to display in a vase. This is a full day workshop and all materials are included.

Wire butterflies & insects workshop

On this wire art workshop, you'll be inspired by butterflies, moths and dragonflies to create your own decorative wire insect using a variety of coloured wires and beads. This is a full day workshop and all materials are included.

Wire Christmas decoration workshop

Enjoy feeling festive in the run up to Christmas by creating your own wire decorations for your tree or to decorate your home. This Christmas craft workshop is 3 hours long and all materials are included.

Wire jewellery workshop

Create your own unique piece of handmade wire jewellery using just wire, beads, pliers, stitching and wrapping techniques. This is a full day workshop and all materials included.

Embroidered Jewellery Workshop

Using colourful threads and beads you'll to create your own unique embroidered brooch, pendant or earrings. This can be a full or half day workshop, all materials are included.

Embellished Wire & Paper Hoop Hanging Workshop

Experiment with a variety of techniques to create your own original wire art hanging framed in an embroidery hoop. I’ll show you how to make various wire flower, leaf and bird forms and finish them with wire embellishments, colourful papers, beads and more. This is a full day workshop and all materials are included

There's a perfect workshop space here at Spout Brewhouse the building where my lovely studio is housed. You'll find us in Leek, North Staffordshire.

I also run craft classes at other venues. A full list of upcoming dates in various venues can be found here.

You can book online, or in person in the studio, get in touch with any further questions. Workshops in other venues are booked via the venue.

Yes, of course, choose the gift option when you book, and you'll be sent a pdf with all the details you need, you can print it out, pop this into a card to give, or send on in an email.

No, not at all. All of my workshops are beginner friendly. You'll be shown all the techniques you'll need and you'll have time to try them at your own pace in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Read reviews from people who have taken part in my workshops.

Yes, I am happy to run a workshop for your craft club, hen party or birthday celebration, for example. There are shorter versions of some of my workshops if you are looking for something for an afternoon or evening, rather than a full day. Get in touch to discuss what you are looking for and to look at dates, my calendar does get booked up quite quickly.
